Darul Uloom Deoband

The foundation of Darul Uloom Deoband was laid on 15th Muharram 1283 AH (May 31, 1866) in Deoband, marking a historic revival of Islamic education in India. This institution became a center for preserving and spreading traditional Islamic sciences.
